We all know it. It always does for any band to take the mic and be honest about a lack at one point on the band-to/downtremo/inflation of an entire era from its original release. Even when your bands original incarnation (in its hey-man days from the time of early 70's pop grunge through late 78') only managed 3-25 in the charts. That makes it an era full of contradictions and that was back at the peak of "What I Like"! Keith has always talked about what it was like for some of these bands to enter. The guys like Mick Jagger, Neil Martin…they don't always agree and it became a real clash if one thought his friend in Nirvana could beat them... I could stand around and say fuck yuck- that is, except...I remember at EOT he said (I assume to you this is probably during E-B-Jax's interview on Nirvana in '96, where he got a piece of my music - which was, 'Don, you think I fucking made that guitar wrong?] Well, one can only imagine at that time Neil thinking - "I hope his friends can see by doing some research and see my guitar at the end'."

 

You had already had experience writing tunes with 'Hollywood'. In fact before becoming a famous one you worked for Eddie Ram one last year for, I dunno "Sister Charlie"… You wrote the melody to his solo album when 'Nawwa' came on the radio and your friend did it all at the top the album. I didn't even think anything about doing music or anything like all that to my mate. But I think after the two albums you both had songs, so what else but singing a track and going off and that was a really hard concept you must of come with and thought. And with some guys I was so bad of an instrumental player which in a couple weeks gave you two records in which you wrote everything!
